Movie Review “Ghoomer”

Director R Balki has come back with a highly charged emotional drama that speaks about spirit of fighting back. With “Ghoomer”, R. Balki reaffirms his reputation as a master storyteller. R Balki, known for directing films such as “Cheeni Kum,” “Ki and Ka,” and “Pad Man,” has both directed and produced “Ghoomer.” The movie has Shabana Azmi, Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, and Angad Bedi in significant roles.

We should have more movies like ” Ghoomer”. The movie is inspired by the life of Karoly Takacs, a Hungarian shooter who won two Olympic gold medals in 1948 and 1952. Initially right-handed, he had to switch to his left hand for competitions because his right hand got seriously injured.
