Plot:

Adapted from Anurag Pathak’s novel, it follows the story of Manoj Kumar Sharma from Chambal, who, despite dropping out in the 12th grade, embarks on the journey to prepare for the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) exam.

Performances:

The movie is fantastic, featuring an amazing cast and phenomenal performances from everyone involved. Vikrant Massey truly deserves all the accolades in this film. His acting will leave you speechless and, yes, with a lot of tears, but the experience is absolutely worth it. A salute to the writer, director, and producer, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who once again proves to be a master of cinema.

Music:

The film’s background score is captivating. Just listen to the song, “Restart”. Written by Swanand Kirkire, composed by Shantanu Moitra, and performed by Shaan and Swanand Kirkire, this empowering anthem will motivate you to persist, restart, and continue your journey to achieve your goal. Another enchanting melody is “Bolo Na,” that beautifully captures the essence of love in the movie.
